About the Artist - Tal Fitzpatrick is an artist, researcher, craftivist and community development worker based in Melbourne. Tal holds a PhD in Visual Art from the Victorian College of the Arts(2018) and a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours from Griffith University (2010). Driven by the power of craft to solicit the sharing of stories, Tal's textile based, socially-engaged art making practice looks to drive positive change by engaging diverse groups of people in complex conversations.     

Tal's work, Signs For Our Times was set to premier at Next Wave Festival 2020.
